Be Chased By A Robot!

Sega have launched their new two wheel dancing robot – who will chase you round the house!

At 73cm (2.4ft) the aptly named “A.M.P Automated Music Personality”, is being marketed towards “Men who like robots and who as children dreamed of living one day with robots” (Osamu Takeuchi of Sega Toys)

The dancing robot is ready for an MP3 or Ipod played to be plugged into its back, it will then dance and bob its head with flahing LEDs. It is also being pitched as having a real presence in the home allowing interaction with the owner and in Takeuchi’s words: “The owner can also enjoy being chased around the house by the robot”. Quite how it does this is yet to be seen!

The ampbot will first retail for around $745.
